SUPERIOR COURT JUDGES, MARIOPA COUNTY:

-Janet Barton – She removed “Protect Our City”, Proposition 405 from the November Ballot!

Be aware that many of the judges who are Republicans switched parties when Hull was in office. They are actually Democrats.

-Michael Jones

 

      Be aware that your vote on the judges doesn't actually matter, since once appointed, they are all retained.  No Arizona judge has been turned out of office in over 30 years!

 

   "Merit Selection"--in use in Maricopa and Pima counties and on the appellate level, is not the grand plan we are told it is.  Thirteen Arizona counties opted out of this scheme, and continue to ELECT their judges. Only the two most populous counties are saddled with this monstrosity that takes the vote from the people.   Voting to retain a judge is meant to give the people the impression that they are actually participating in this process, when in fact,  THEY ARE NOT.
