SPECIAL NOTE:
The entire victorious Legislative District 11
Executive slate are Members of the PMRA unit of the Arizona Republican
Assembly! The voting Results for the
Executive Committee are listed below the Comments.
Also, it is likely that the next Arizona Republican Party Chairman will be a member of the PMRA unit of the ARA (Randy Pullen current Republican Assembly and Republican Party National Committeeman) since LD11 also elected all but one of our 133 conservative State Committeeman slate and LD11 is BY FAR the largest district among the 30 Arizona Districts! That election will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 and several other large district delegations are also committed to our PMRA candidate.
Therefore there is hope for a future positive Constitutional restoration turnaround starting right here in Arizona!!!
It’s no secret that Senator John McCain plans
on running for President in 2008. To
smooth his way he needed to solidify his position in Arizona. First he had to eliminate major
Republican opposition within the State Republican Party, starting by taking
control of his home district, Legislative District 11, the center of
Republican opposition to his record. Second
he needed to place a McCain robot into the position of Republican State
Chairman. To accomplish the second he
needed to get his slate of State Committeemen elected at the LD11 election
November 28th as LD11’s 133 State Committeemen contingent (at least
twice the size of the next largest district) will be key to deciding the next
State Chairman.
In the face of this plan, the November 28th
District 11 Election proved to be a huge setback (in his own district)
for Senator John McCain, who was the acknowledged force behind a front group
calling themselves the “Grassroots Arizona PAC”, chaired by former Jane Hull
aid, Anne Lynch and Treasurer, Jane Lynch (no relation). The McCain group spent thousands of dollars
recruiting Precinct Committeemen in an attempt to takeover control of the
district that had started the several Republican Statewide Organization
Resolutions of McCain Censure that were passed in 2005-2006 throughout Arizona.
– But what was the source of their funding??
Grassroots
Arizona PAC 40% funded by Democrat Donors.
Following the September Primary Election of Precinct Committeemen, McCain and his group recruited a complete slate of opposition candidates for the LD11 District Executive Board in retaliation. Once again the group spent a considerable amount of time and money calling all PC’s and mailing out at least three letters asking for support of their slate. The McCain Executive Candidates were led by tarnished former Governor and McCain supporter, Fife Symington; an assortment of Countryclub Republicans and RINO’s, some of whom had supported Democrat Janet Napolitano for Governor; and included a pair of very young, uninformed virtual beginners.
Symington had been forced to resign as Governor following a felony conviction, but subsequently received a Presidential Pardon from then President Bill Clinton. It seems that Symington had saved Clinton from a possible drowning some years ago and Clinton apparently felt he owed one to Symington in gratitude.
The letters asking for support
included one endorsed and signed by high-level elected officials who evidently
felt the pressure of McCain power (to see why, click on the race
for Republican State Chairman), owed McCain for past support, or who have been on
McCain’s payroll as assistants in the past. The list was a “who’s who” of
McCain self-imposed political subordinates and hangers-on, including Senator
John Kyl; Congressmen John Shadegg, Jeff Flake and Rick Renzi; State School
Superintendent Tom Horne; Corp. Commissioner Gary Pierce; State Senator Jim
Warring; former State Representatives Steve Tully and Laura Knaperek; and
Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas.
This group presumed to interfere at
the grassroots party level (outside of the sphere of their elected office)
attempting to use the power of their position to control the very people who
were responsible for electing them as their agents, NOT as their rulers. WHERE WERE THEY when it came to
supporting the Republican Candidates for Governor and Attorney General over the
left-wing Democrats in the General Election?? --- This group offered NO
COMPARABLE JOINT MEDIA ENDORSEMENT for these Republicans when it would have
helped defeat the Democrat incumbents!! --- Shame on them!!
Interestingly, Kyl and Shadegg had
endorsed well known incumbent RINO and Napolitano supporter, State Senator
Carolyn Allen for re-election over known Republican Conservative State
Representative, Colette Rosati. Thus,
Carolyn Allen will continue in her senate support for Napolitano’s big-spending
liberal fiscal and pro-illegal alien border agendas.
With these people as our
representatives, does the Arizona Republican Party need any enemies??
Winners and PMRA members in bold print.

So, other than being the darling of the Democrats and an authoritarian tyrant with dictatorial tendencies, why do constitutional-conservative Republicans who know him oppose McCain???
Here are a few of the reasons:
a) NAFTA represents an important component of our international economic policy … Mexico is one of our largest trading partners, and it is in our best interest to maintain as open a border as possible. Source: (x-ref Drugs) Senate statement, “Drug Free Borders” Mar 18, 1999
b) Pro-NAFTA, pro-GATT, pro-MFN, pro-Fast Track
McCain supports the following statements regarding free
trade:
1) Supports NAFTA,
including broadening NAFTA to include other countries in the western
hemisphere.
2) Supports GATT and the
WTO.
3) Opposes imposing
tariffs on products imported from nations that maintain restrictive trade
barriers on American products.
4) A nation’s human rights
record should not affect its “most favored nation” trading status with the US.
5) Supports granting the
President “fast-track” authority.
